shopping - New additions to my daily makeup bag!

Image
Hi ladies! It is so darn hot right now, I am beyond happy to be sitting inside typing up a new post. In my journey of July's Project 10 Pan, I've also tried to better rotate the products I'm not focusing on using up. This includes a couple things such as my concealer, primers, and even some new brushes I haven't used as often as I have liked to. I know many girls do weekly makeup bag updates, and this is kind of like that, so depending on the response, I might continue every time I rotate products. I like the quick reviews and learning about how other people use their products. E.L.F. Small Stipple Brush - I really love this brush. I got this in my Target Haul a couple of weeks ago, and I'm sure glad I got it. It's dense, but not too dense, and soft but sturdy. I use it for the blush pictured here (I'll get to it in a minute) but I can also use it to apply my foundation. Real Techniques Detailer Brush - When I first bought this brush, I didn...

shopping - July Ipsy Bag 2013! (Beach Beauty)

Image
Hello, my lovely readers! I was so excited for this month's Ipsy, and now it has finally arrived! I've got a lot to say about what I received, so I'm going to go right ahead. The Bag: There has been so much discussion about the bag itself this month. I've been generally pleased with the other bags. I really enjoyed May's bag, and I've been satisfied with the other bags. I'm not ordering Ipsy for the makeup bags, I'm ordering it for the makeup! I agree that the bag does look a little immature, but hey, it's summer. I don't care who sees me with a see-through pink plastic makeup bag on vacation, or anywhere else. I like how it'll keep my makeup dry at the pool or beach, and it's just a fun addition.  Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub - Full Size: $32.50 (2 oz), My size: $16.25 (1 oz) I've read on forums that many girls wanted this scrub. I'm happy that I received it, though I don't have much use for it. I hate to ...

shopping - Project 10 Pan!

Image
Hi guys! I'm started another Project 10 Pan, as I've mentioned lately. Normally, I do these when I know that I'm going to be strapped for cash and it gives me something positive to keep me from buying makeup. And also stand back and be grateful for what I have, of course. I feel like the makeup community is lovely, but also fueled by such excess in buying products that we should all keep in mind what we've already got. So here we go, 5 makeup products and 5 body products! Revlon Lip Butter in Cotton Candy - It's not that I don't like Lip Butters, this colour is just not for me. I always feel like shimmery, light pink shades look trashy on me, so I'll be using this up by constantly reapplying it.  N.Y.C. Loose Translucent Powder - This is an excellent powder, but I miss my pressed Dream Matte Powder. I've got a little left, and I should be able to use this up by the end of this month with everyday use.  Dream Fresh BB Cream - This stuf...

June Empties 2013!

Image
Hi girls! I'm so excited that it's so hot and gorgeous out, but I'm happily inside in front of fan typing up my June Empties. I didn't feel like I did an AMAZING job this month, but I'm proud of how many full size products I managed to get through. I'll follow up soon with a post about No Buy July, an entire month of me focusing on using up things rather than buying more, and really getting rid of things in my collection that have been there for too long.  So lets get started! 12 Products, 9 full sized! From left to right: Exact Facial Cleansing Cloths - The absolute best. Takes off everything. Comes in a package of 56 wipes, and I bought two packages in a value pack for $5. Cost effective and just plain effective, I'll never need to buy another kind.  Would Repurchase Equate Facial Cleansing Clothes - The same as the Exact ones, but Wal Mart brand. I would probably just switch between these and the Exact ones, depending on ...
