June Empties 2013!

Hi girls!

I'm so excited that it's so hot and gorgeous out, but I'm happily inside in front of fan typing up my June Empties. I didn't feel like I did an AMAZING job this month, but I'm proud of how many full size products I managed to get through.

I'll follow up soon with a post about No Buy July, an entire month of me focusing on using up things rather than buying more, and really getting rid of things in my collection that have been there for too long. 

So lets get started!

Exact Facial Cleansing Cloths - The absolute best. Takes off everything. Comes in a package of 56 wipes, and I bought two packages in a value pack for $5. Cost effective and just plain effective, I'll never need to buy another kind.

Equate Facial Cleansing Clothes - The same as the Exact ones, but Wal Mart brand. I would probably just switch between these and the Exact ones, depending on what's cheaper because they're so similar.

Skintimate Shave Gel - I've pretty much sworn off of shave gels. I have a backup I'm using from Target, but I've just come to the conclusion that they're a waste of money, when I could just use soap. I won't be repurchasing it, but it was a fantastic shave gel. Foams up quick and sticks around long enough for a good shave.

Dove Anti-Frizz Cream - I didn't like this, I felt like it didn't do anything in helping with frizz. It smelled lovely and that's the only thing that motivated me to use it. It was nice to keep fly aways at bay when I was putting my hair in a bun or ponytail, but had no effect on the actual frizziness of my hair.

PINK Soft and Dreamy Body Lotion - I got tired of the scent super fast and while it was thick and creamy, it left my legs sticky, which I hated. This was my first VS lotion, but I won't be buying another, not only because I have 50 lotions I need to use, but this just didn't thrill me.

Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes - I got in the habit of using some old makeup wipes to clean up after I was done doing my makeup, and I decided to try these for that job. They worked well, and the fact that they're antibacterial is nice considering I could always use them to freshen up any dirty makeup pans or lipstick tips. I repurchased these in the Target brand in a large container.

Julep's The Best Pedi Cream Ever - I really liked this foot cream. The positive effects where instantly visible after the first few uses, and I loved the light cucumber smell. If you can get this in a Maven box, Julep's subscription service, then go for it. Other than that, it's $20 for this tiny bottle, and I'm not paying that, nor am I ever dealing with Julep customer service ever again.

True Blue Spa Apricot Scrub - This was really nothing special. It was gentler than the St. Ives Apricot scrub though, and I didn't feel like it made a huge difference on my skin.

Lady Speed Stick in Tropical - I liked this scent, though it was very overpowering and sometimes smelled stronger than my perfume, though, I always need deodorant.

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation - I love this foundation! Because I have so many freckles, I like an even skin tone for my face but if it overpowers my freckles, it looks too cakey. I can't determine the level of coverage this gives me, though it makes my skin glow and compliments my freckles.

Frosted Snowberry PocketBac - I always have these in my empties. This scent is sweet and clean, and while it's from the Holiday Collection, it's fine anytime of the year.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Rollerball - I'm actually upset I used this all up. Anything from the Daisy by Marc Jacobs line is my favourite perfume, I won't be repurchasing this Rollerball, but Eau So Fresh is next on my list after I'm done with my full size Daisy.

So there you have it, another month, another empties. I've already begun working on my July Empties and I've gotten through 3 full size products so far that were just hanging on this month!
