shopping - July Empties 2013!

Hi Girls!

So, this is a super late post, and my August empties is looking a little, well, empty. Out of both busy-ness and neglect, I forgot all about this post. So I apologize to you, my readers, because it's really lame to follow a blog with rare posts.

I've got my July Empties today, and I must say that I'm proud of myself. I focused on a lot of my Project Pan and some other things I was determined to see out this month.

I apologize for the poor quality! It looks excellent in my picture viewer but somehow converts to crap when I upload it.

Skincare Empties

Paris Amour Body Lotion - One of my favourite scents from Bath and Body Works, so I did really enjoy it. I will definitely repurchase once I get through my collection of lotions.
Would Repurchase

Jergens Natural Glow Lotion - The best self tanner I have ever used. I've tried other things, wipes, tinted gels, everything. I'm pale as pale gets so I've been through them all. While this is kind of tedious to apply, you need to be careful that you get every spot, it gives the best colour and looks the most natural.
Would Repurchase

Signature Vanillas Cherry Vanilla Lotion - I am so happy this is finally gone. I was just tired of the sickly sweet scent and the stickiness it had. I don't even know if they make this anymore, but I wouldn't repurchase regardless.

Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter - I really liked this lotion. It was thick, smooth and soaked up quickly. I noticed that it's natural and vegan, which is nice because I'm interested in looking for more good-for-me products rather than chemical ones. I'll get this the next time I'm completely out of lotion, it was fantastic.
Would Repurchase

St. Ives Skin Firming Lotion - This claims to be a firming lotion, but I honestly saw no different in the firmness of my skin, and the lotion wasn't even very moisturizing to begin with.

Misc. Empties
Love and Beauty Hydrating Makeup Remover Wipes - I remember mentioning these in a haul and saying that if I was disapointed, it was no big deal because of how little I paid. That soon turned out to be the case with these. They were acceptable at first, moist even. but the thin texture of the wipes didn't help in removing makeup. I know that when I really have to RUB my face clean with makeup wipes, that they aren't for me.
Would Not Repurchase

Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreen in SPF 60 and SPF 45 - I have to say I really like this stuff, I am pale as pale gets so sunscreen is a staple for me. It smells clean and I did enjoy the SPF 60 with the spray nozzle. The SPF 45 in the tube was harder to rub in, and left me a little whiter than usual, which is not something desired in the summertime. I'd repurchase the spray version.
Would Repurchase

LUSH Love Lettuce - As much as I'd like to say this was good and I loved it, I didn't. It felt like a nice treat in the bath and I loved how when I washed it off, it acted as an exfoliant, but I have got to stop buying Lush Face Masks. They only last for a few weeks and the instructions say to only use them once or twice a week. So basically, I'm paying $7 to use a product MAYBE 6 times. No thank you. It didn't do anything noticeable to my skin, and it went moldy even after I religiously kept it in the fridge.

Cottom Pads - Good old Cotton Pads. Where would I be without them?

New York Colour Translucent Loose Powder - I can't believe I finished this entire thing. My Grandma actually gave this to me and I questioned if I would even like it, because she didn't. I loved it! It's so cheap, it's non-cakey, and doesn't make me look too pale! I have a few powders to use up so I won't jump up to repurchase it yet, but I will use it time and time again once I do.
Would Repurchase

Body Shop Lip Butter in Guarana - Nope. Left a white cast, and even though it smelled nice, it wasn't worth it. I never felt it actually sinking into my lips and didn't moisturize.
Would Not Repurchase

Eyes Lips Face Blush and Bronzer Duo (Blush) - I must have used this blush everyday for a whole year. The bronzer was far too dark for me, so I popped it out and gave it away, but I can truly say I used every speck of this blush. It's so natural with just a tiny bit of shimmer, and I have to have it again.
Would Repurchase

Eyes Lips Face Mist and Set - I tossed this around so much that the label wore off. At first, I didn't like this spray. I hated putting it on my face, I had a problem with the nozzle, and I hated the smell. As time went on I figured out how to better spray it, and how to deal with the faint scent when first applied. It set my makeup beautifully, and took away any "cakey-ness" from my foundation in winter. I've never used any of Urban Decay's setting sprays, but I don't feel that I need to with this around.
Would Repurchase

Be Enchanted Glitter Spray - I've finally had it! I am so done with this stupid spray! I have no idea why I bought it to begin with, and it finally hit me that instead of torturing my poor room with this products dumb glitter and scent, I'd just chuck it. It just sprays glitter, nice enough for a six year old going to a birthday party, but not for me.
Would Not Repurchase

Frosted Snowberry PocketBac - I think this may have been in my last empties. I'm not a huge fan of the scent, it's a little too sweet for me, but I'll always have PocketBacs with me.
Would Repurchase

B. Kamins Bio-Maple Lip Balm - I can appreciate that this is from a Canadian company, which I am all for, but I didn't like this. It was waxy and unpleasant to wear because it just sat on my lips.

What have you guys used up this month?
