summer 2016 - Bronzer for Fair girls

I can finally say, that as one of the palest people I've come into contact with, that I have found the perfect bronzing powders for my fellow fair girls. I have always been nervous about bronzing, really, I don't think I understood the point of bronzing up my face. I knew that wearing bronzer would be far too obvious, bronzer has always been several shades darker than my natural tone, compared to the few shades darker it might be for others. With the introduction of contouring and the rise of the Instagram cheekbone, I was able to experiment more with shading my face and in the process, have found the best product that work for me. I can say that I'm no expert, but I now have the confidence to wear bronzer daily and am able to switch it up even without a fake tanned face. I've narrowed it down to my top 3 powders.

1) Pixi Summertime Bronzer with Kabuki - $18 - Target.com
Receiving this product years ago in my Ipsy bag introduced me to it, and since unsubscribing from the bags, this gem has remained in my collection. The little pan has lasted through years of use and I only recently had to throw the empty pan away. It's light enough for winter use, contains subtle shimmer, and has a shade that's more brown than orange. It's hard to overdo it with this product, and it definitely gave me the confidence to try other bronzers.

2) Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess - $36 - Sephora
This product sat at my vanity for a few years before I finally decided to put it on my face. With an accompayning fake tan and a light hand, this bronzer provides instant cheekbones and a warm glow. It is definitely too dark for my natural skin tone, but even one coat of St. Tropez makes a difference in how well this looks on me. It blends out well, leaving no streakiness, and allows me to take some time to frame my face with what I've applied. It does kick up a little bit of powder, although I know that with the little amount I use, it should last me as long as my Pixi powder did.

3) Wet N Wild Bronzer with SPF 15 in Ticket to Brazil - $4.98 - Wal Mart Stores
This has to be the best bargain in my collection. For under $5, you could own a perfectly shimmery, light bronzer that stays all day. The SPF 15 is an awesome bonus, considering how much use this will get this summer. The pan is huge and easy to throw in my bag for a touch up, despite not having a mirror. This one, like the Tarte, can be a little powdery depending on how you use your brush, but the large pan holds onto excess fallout and product doesn't get wasted. The shimmer isn't too wild and this shade is a good compliment to another in the range, Reserve your Cabana, which I usually use as a highlight.

I know that the remaining bronzing powders I have left will be gone by the end of the summer, I can't help but use these amazing products everyday to give me the perfect glow. Gone are the days where I glow in the dark and don't show up in pictures.
