shopping - Ipsy October 2013!

Good morning ladies!

It felt like I was waiting for my Ipsy bag this month forever! I got my shipping email on the 10th and it didn't show up at my door (well, my neighbors door, for some reason) until the 21st. Though it was well worth the wait, I'm very happy with what I received.

Zoya Nail Polish in Mason - $8 (Full size)
Out of all the colours Ipsy was offering this month, this is the colour I wanted. It's a true jewel pink, shimmer and all, and I like how it's a little darker then the pinks that I own. It appears more purple on my nails than I would have liked, but it's totally gorgeous anyways.

Style Sexy Hair Spray Clay - $6 (My Size - 41 g) $18.95 (Full Size - 127 g)
I'm kind of confused about this product. From what I understand, spray on "clay" is usually used for texturizing, and I feel like my hair is way too long to really benefit from any kind of texture for styling. Hopefully, this product will do well as a hairspray at least, so I can get some use out of it.

Nourish Organic Coconut and Argan Body Lotion Full - $1.49 (My Size - 30 ml) $11.99 (Full Size - 236 ml)
This smells like pepper! Ugh, I don't like coconut to begin with, but this actually smells like somebody mixed in pepper. It's a thin lotion, which I don't mind, but I can tell I'll be happy when it's gone already.

Ofra Lip Gloss Plumper in Sultry - $12.95 (Full Size):
I actually really like this product. The packaging looks a little cheap, I can see through the plastic, and the words on the tube look a little childish, but I like the actual lip gloss. The colour is appropriate for fall, it plumps my lips, and it's just sticky enough that it will last, but not sticky enough to bother me.

H2O Plus Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment - $7.20 (My Size - 10 ml) $36 (Full Size - 50 ml):
I was actually downtown the other day and I saw a store selling this product, and I remembered I would be receiving it in my Ipsy. I'm always open to new moistuizers, and the gelly consistency is interesting. I can't wait to see what this product does for me.

This month's bag was worth a total of $35.64, and that's fine with me. I was impressed with this bag, and everything I got should be getting some use this month!

Sydney :)
