shopping - October Empties 2013!

Hi girls!

This month has been excellent for empties. I didn't post any in the month of September because I didn't have enough, or anything too special that I just had to talk about. At the beginning of this month, so many products were on their last leg that I knew they'd all reach their end for this post.

From left to right:
Cotton Rounds: They're in almost every empties post! I'll never go back to using cotton balls, I just find that these are better at evenly applying toner.

Garnier Triple Nutrition Conditioner: This product took me ages to use. I've heard great things about it, but I don't understand the hype. It didn't do spectacular things for my hair, so I'll pass on it next time.

Avon Bubble Bath in Strawberry Shortcake: I really like Bubble Bath's from Avon. It's so much product for such little money, and the pretty scent lingers in the bath. The bubbles don't stick around for long, but I don't mind because bubbles in bubble bath never do for me.

Honest Baby Wipes: I love how these are super natural baby wipes. I used them to spot clean my brushes after foundation, and to clean off my fingers after application. I like how they're biodegradable, because if you think about how many makeup wipes and baby wipes just end up in the garbage, it's nice to know that these won't remain in landfills for long.

Love and Beauty Hydrating Makeup Wipes: I've had these in an empties before, and I still have the same opinion of them. They're really thin, and kind of abrasive because of the poor quality fabric used. I used them for cleaning up my vanity and cleaning my brushes.

Island Margarita PocketBac:
This may be the best scent in PocketBacs. It's really the only thing a scent like this is appropriate for. It's light, but smells fruity and tangy, I'll be looking for it next summer for sure.
Would Repurchase

Malibu Heat body lotion: My favorite summer scent from Bath and Body. I used to keep this mini in my purse but it's so beat up, it was time for it to go. I have back ups upon backups of this scent, and I hope they release it again next summer. Highly recommended if you can find it at the next semi annual sale.
Would Repurchase

Cashmere Glow body lotion: I believe this is a permanent scent at Bath and Body Works, and I really liked it. It smells sweet, but fresh, and if I ever ran out of body lotion, I would consider repurchasing this one. I know that many people prefer the Triple Moisture body lotions at BABW, but these lotions absorb so much faster than those for me.
Would Repurchase

Mirabella Translucent Perfecting powder: I received this in my Ipsy bag in May, and I loved it. It didn't leave a whitecast, and it was so finely milled that it blended onto my skin so easily. I would repurchase, if I didn't have to order Mirabella online.

Mirabella foundation primer: I really liked this as well! I received this in my first Ipsy bag ever (November 2012) and it was lovely. It was silicone based, so it smoothed right over my skin and grabbed my foundation. It wasn't greasy, and didn't clump out on my skin at all.
Would Repurchase

Purell Hand Sanitizer: I like this hand sanitizer, because there's no scent, and it was the first one I had ever used. I won't be repurchasing anymore small sizes, but filling this mini up with a value size Purell to save a little money. But hand sanitier is a must for me, so I...

Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser: This face wash did everything I needed it to, it left a squeaky clean feeling on my face, took off the majority of my makeup (with the exception of a little waterline eyeliner) and didn't irritate my skin. It was excellent, and I'll have to pick it up again.
Would Repurchase

St.Ives Exfoliating Apricot Scrub: I think this product was supposed to be for the face, but because of the tub packaging, I used it all over my body before self tanning. It's not too gentle that it doesn't do anything, but also not so rough that it would leave my skin red. It's so inexpensive, especially with this much product, and it works well. My only problem with the product is how it does leave behind exfoliating beads in the bath, but it's nothing a quick bathtub rinse doesn't fix.
Would Repurchase

Colgate Optic White Toothpaste: When I first began using this product, I noticed a huge difference in the whiteness of my teeth. I had tried absolutely everything to try and whiten my teeth, and this stuff worked. However, it doesn't leave such an impact with continued use. I've been using it for a good two months now, and the whiteness of my teeth hasn't improved since my first couple weeks of use. It does say that it's only intended for use up to 6 weeks, but if you need an easy fix for yellow teeth, this is it.

It looks like I used up some pretty good products this month, considering most are things I would repurchase. Thanks for reading, I've already got some more in my basket for next month!
