shopping - Skincare favourites!
Hello lovelies!
I know I've been MIA for a little while, but that's what senior year does to me. But I'm back with a post about my favourite skincare products at the moment! This won't be only facial skincare, because I threw in my favourite foor cream and body lotion at the moment.
(Starting from the top left, clockwise)
Feet: Julep's "Best Pedi Cream Ever!" I recieved this in my first (and last) Julep Maven box. It smells like freshly sliced cucumbers, and though I won't be repurchasing it simply because I'm not a fan of Julep as a company, and it's overpriced, but it's a lovely product. It's not thick like many foot lotions I've tried, but still effective. It has definitely improved my heels and the balls on my feet, a perfect cream after a long day at work and a shower!
Body: Victoria's Secret Pink Soft and Dreamy Supersoft Body Lotion. What a mouthful! I bought this lotion to use with the body mist, which has ended up in my empties pile. This lotion is just thick enough to feel moisturized and doesn't leave me feeling greasy. It does feel a little bit sticky, allthough I can work with it as I just apply this and go straight to sleep. I will admit I'm trying to use it up, but I am enjoying it while it's still around. The scent is a light, lemony scent that doesn't overpower, but rather makes me feel clean.
Face: Exact Facial Cleansing Cloths. Holy Grail. Hands down. I can't even remember why I picked these up at my Superstore (a Canadian drugstore, if you didn't know). They were on for $5 for two packages, retailing as refill for the main package, the main packaged in a flip open plastic container. I checked out the main package, and it was double in price, so I went with just the pull open ones. I have never been happier with a makeup removing cloth! They come 56 in a pack, and at such a cheap price, I'm not afraid to use them as often as I need. I normally save my makeup wipes but these are used as a result of purse laziness! They claim to clean, moisturize, and tone, which I completely agree with. Don't pass these up!
Face: Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser. This was my first experience with a C&C face cleasner, and I can say that I'm pleased. It does a good job of removing makeup, hasn't broken me out, and leaves me with that squeaky clean feeling. I think the best part about this product is that you don't need a lot. It's cheap to begin with but it's even better that it foams up so I don't need to use a bunch.
Face: Clean and Clear Deep Cleaning Toner. Another pefect product for me, this gets the job done of getting off the very last bit of any face makeup and dirt buildup. I think this might be my 3rd bottle, and I've got another sitting in my backup drawer. This blue one is meant for sensitive skin, and if you're in the market for a new toner, I'd recommend this one %100.
Face: Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer. Now, I never intended to use the 3 step program that C&C offers with it's products but somehow, I ended up using them religiously. This moistuzier has been loved for a good 5 years, I rarely see any pimples using this system. I only see pimples when I'm stressed, and there's no product known to man that will cure my stress levels, so I am accepting of it. I will continue to keep this in my nightly routine of products.
Face: True Blue Spa Supremely Smooth Face Scrub. I'm a fan of this scrub for two reasons. The beads aren't terribly enormous, as they are in the St.Ives scrub, and the smell is lovely. The full size bottle is $12 for 4 oz. (4 times the size of this bottle) but I won't be repurchasing it. I know I'll be able to find a dupe, but until I do, this will remain in my shower until it's all gone!
Hope you all have a fantastic week!
